Creative freedom, for yourself and the team. New challenges, when offered with support and trust, make leadership processes more effective. Therefore, stimulating the creativity of employees, giving them a voice and a voice, makes leadership seen as a type of lever for everyone's success. After all, a person's intellectual abilities need to gain space, as they can result in a significant contribution to the development of activities and achievement of goals. However, this stimulation of creativity and the proposed challenges must consider the uniqueness of each member of the group and optimize existing skills so that, who knows, new capabilities can be discovered. 2. Have inspiring attitudes Leaders are like representatives. It is not just about someone leading the team, but a mirror for the work of the employees under their leadership. Therefore, leading successfully and masterfully requires having attitudes that inspire other team members. This is how they will feel represented and, therefore, even more engaged in the proposed tasks and challenges. To transform relationships – and thus also results – exerting a positive influence is essential.
Since it is through the characteristics and behaviors taken as an example that the team will feel encouraged by the admiration they have for the leader. 3. Feel enthusiasm for the work Leadership requires dedication and a good dose of positive energy. There is no way to lead effectively without passion and enthusiasm for the work being done. Therefore, to stand out as a leader you need to really enjoy what you do and feel motivated to perform your role. Only in this way is it possible to convey security to the group and, as we said in the previous item, be someone from whom others draw DM Databases inspiration. After all, no one will take into account a leader who just “clocks in”, without worrying much about the results and the progress of the processes. 4. Know how to listen as well as speak Good communication is one of the most important points when talking about leadership. After all, there is no way to transmit the correct message to the group when there is noise in communication. Even worse is a leader who knows how to speak very well, but doesn't have good ears. We have already said that leading does not mean commanding, giving orders.

Leadership is about management – of tasks, but also of people, at some point. That is why, to perform the role of leader with quality and success, knowing how to receive feedback from employees and listen to what they have to say is as important as giving them instructions. 5. A good leader is positive and motivating Imagine how unpleasant it can be to live with a grumpy, complaining and negative leader. Nobody likes people like that around them, even less so when it is precisely from them that we expect motivation and optimism. Effective leadership needs positivity, optimism and motivation. Apathetic leaders reflect this on the team. On the contrary, positive leaders also provide “gas” for the group to do their work with joy and achieve the best results. 6. Be open to new ideas Don't think you know everything or that you know more than any member of your team. Being a successful leader means being open to new proposals and ideas, taking into account the knowledge and experience of each employee. When people know that the leader accepts their ideas, a participatory and democratic movement is created, and leadership becomes transformative, being able to find creative solutions and solve problems without them interfering with productivity.
